Speaking to Akua Okontie on Plan B FM’s Apomudenfie, He described burning sensation as a type of pain that’s distinct from dull, stabbing, or aching pain. A burning pain is often related to nerve problems. However, there are many other possible causes. Injuries, infections, and autoimmune disorder have the potential to trigger nerve pain, and in some cases cause nerve damage.
He also said that Many medical conditions that cause a burning sensation have no cure, but treatments are helpful in controlling the pain.
He added that persons should seek treatment from their healthcare providers if they are concerned about a burning sensation and suspect if they have a health problem.
He concluded that it can go by itself but when takes so long, affected persons need to see their Doctors immediately.
