News coming in indicates that there has been a tragic accident on the Kasoa to Cape Coast road.
According to a report by Jacob Kubi on Okay Fm, eight(8) persons have received several categories of injuries after their Toyota Hiace truck collided with an incoming Articulator truck.
According to the reporter, the cause of this accident was as a result of an overtaking by the Toyota driver. The Toyota truck driver wanted to stay in position with an ambulance truck which was in front of him thereby preventing other cars from overtaking him on the stretch.
This resulted in a head on collision with an upcoming articulator truck when a car tried to overtake the Toyota Hiace.
The injured persons are currently receiving treatment at the Winnebago Trauma hospitals. This sad incident happened this morning at Ekumfi Dunkwa.
