A woman believed to be in her 50s has allegedly murdered her husband at Gomoa Nkwantanan in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region.

The woman allegedly lynched the husband after misunderstand ensued between them.

The suspect, Forgive Forgbe, has since been arrested by the Awutu Beraku District Police Command.

The deceased husband, Kobbi Brown, 60, was allegedly killed by the suspect wife at about 4:30am on Monday, December 20, 2021.

Reports indicate that a 13-year-old daughter of the couple said, the suspect told her she was stepping out briefly, however, a few minutes later she heard people distressfully screaming for help.

She curiously rushed to the scene to catch a glimpse only to shockingly see her father dead in a pool of blood, dumped in parked concrete blocks in front of their house.

The Assembly member for Budumburam Electoral Area, Lot Arthur described the incident as unfortunate.

He expressed worry that the area is recording gruesome killings in recent times hence calling on the IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to deploy more police personnel to the community this yuletide season.
