An executive of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Luqman Abubakari has bemoaned how party big men are trading jobs for sex even to party faithfuls.
In a write on Facebook he said he recounted how he had received calls from party members who have paid monies to get a job or had to sex their way through it.
“Day in, I have reports of people selling jobs, reports of our party big shots exchanging big-time jobs for just a ten (10) minute ONE NIGHT STAND pleasure in a hotel at the expense of those who have the requisite knowledge, and the same required qualifications for job openings in Ghana,” he wrote.

Just about today, a young patriot from the north rang me, then I was busy at the gym, but the phone keeps ringing and bubbling, I reached out to the phone and tap on the already hot answer button to check out my interactant on the other side of the phone.
A deep scintillating male voice said “hello Mr. Aluqus” calmly, then I suspected it was someone who doesn’t have a bond with me, for is very rare for my buddies to address me with my initials that had formed my nickname with the title “Mr”, well, I responded copiously while smiling, then we annexed the conversation quickly, the young man said he paid monies for a job that was promised him at Ghana Gas corporation last year, and he has since not heard anything from this, so I asked him, please what do you want me to do for you since I was in the gym and did not have enough time to stay on the phone, then he quickly replied “please I need you to intervene on my behalf for me to get the job or get my monies back.
I told him point-blank that I do not have such capacity, yes, of course, I hold a party executive position in Germany but I’m not laced with such powers. I said sorry to him as it’s the culture here, he thanked me and hung up.Party people, and those who are in power, please help our people without those strings attached, kindly remember their sacrifices and toils they went through just for the sake of the party, do not take monies from them nor ask for sex in return for a job. We are building the party to BREAK the unconventional 8-year rule in 2024 and possibly stay in power forever, but sadly the current demeanor of our party leaves much to be desired. Let’s change the narrative for the sake of posterity.
