Sanitation Minister To Act As Gender Minister As President Extends Leave Of Gender Minister

H.E President Akufo-Addo has extended the leave of absence from office, for the Gender Minister, Sarah Adwoa Safo.

In a statement sighted by PLAN B FM, signed by the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House Eugine Arhin, it indicated that the Dome Kwabenya MP’s leave, which she sought for personal reasons, was supposed to have ended on August 31, 2021.

However, she requested for an extension and it has been granted by the President.

The statement further indicated that, the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, to act as caretaker Minister.
