Two Suspected Armed Robbers Gun Down In Ashaiman

The police in Ashaiman, Greater Accra Region, has gun down two suspected armed robbers.

The suspects, Joseph Dagodzo and Majahid Abubakar died in a hospital after sustaining gunshot wounds during a shoot-out with the police.

A third suspect, 67-year-old Bukari Salifu, who is a financier and supplier of weapons for the organization, was also caught in his hideout in Zenu a suburb in the Kpone Katamanso Municipality.

This was revealed in a statement signed by the acting Director-General of Police Public Affairs Department, ACP Kwesi Ofori.

The police retrieved a Blow F9-22 weapon, a locally manufactured firearm, and two motorcycles, according to the statement.
