The Local Government Minister, Dan Botwe today, Sunday, September 19, 2021, announced President Akufo-Addo’s choice of nominees for the various metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies across the country.
He announced all the President’s nominees a press briefing today. The minister explained that the list has been forwarded to the various regional ministers prior to the announcement.
According to the Local Government, the various regional ministers are expected to contact the Electoral Commission who will commence processes for assembly elections on the various nominees.
