The Member of Parliament, Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison on Friday 17th September, 2021 cut sod for the commencement of 16.61km feeder road project at Agona Upper and Lower Bobikuma in the Agona West Municipality.
This project has been divided into three (3) phases and it’s been funded by Ghana Road Fund and CocoaBoard respectively.
The first phase of the project will see to the construction of Upper Bobikuma Town Roads with the scope of work covering construction of Concrete Drains, Culverts, Gravel Pavement, Bitumen Seal and Line Markings. Below are names of street to be worked on;
Lower – Upper Bobikuma Street ( Completed), Salerm Street, School Street, Access Road at CH, Bobikuma-Kuntanase Street ( Completed).
The Second phase will see to the upgrading of Lower Bobikuma Town Roads 2.76Km with scope of working covering; Construction of Concrete Drains, Culverts, Gravel Pavement, Bitumen Seal and Line Markings. Below are the names of street to be worked on are; Dansoman 1st. Street, Transformer Link Odumase Street, New Factory Link, Oguabrom Street, Boafo Ye Na Street.
The Final Phase of the Project will see to the upgrading of Bobikuma to Kuntanase 1-11km coupled with construction of concrete drains, Gravel Pavement, Bitumen Seal and Line Makings. These projects are deemed to be completed hopefully March 2023.
Addressing the Chiefs and People of Agona Upper and Lower Bobikuma, The Member of Parliament, Cynthia Mamle Morrison said the aforementioned Roads would be completed as soon as possible.

She further recounted the number of roads that she has lobbied and hopeful for it commencement and completion in the Municipality; i.e Agona Abodom Town Roads, Nyarkrom Obronikrom Road, Agona Swedru Cottage Roads, Swedru Woraba Roads, Swedru Paragon Road, Botwey Estate Road, Swedru Desuanim-Mangoase Roads.
She said the rest of the roads which are under construction would be completed on schedule.
Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison was accompanied by Central Regional Feeder Roads Director, Municipal Coordinator, Deputy Municipal Coordinator, Municipal Roads Engineer, Municipal Works Engineer, Contractor’s, Constituency Executives and Polling Station Officers.
