The Founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has finally been granted bail by an Accra High Court.

Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah was arrested together with three others after he threatened to kill self-acclaimed evangelist, Patricia Oduro Koranteng who is popularly known as Agradaa. The other persons who were arrested are mentioned as Michale Boateng, Frederick Ohene and Nathaniel Agyekum.

According to the police, Rev. Owusu Bempah was arrested together with his alleged accomplices for what the police said is “creation and circulation of multiple videos containing threats, and brandishing of weapon and the assault of some police personnel”.

A release signed by ACOP Kwesi Ofori, the acting Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, noted that the police arrested Rev. Owusu Bempah and his alleged accomplices “after critically analyzing the said videos and based on intelligence gathered”.

The High Court upheld an appeal by Rev.Owusu Bempah’s lawyer, Gary Nimako Marfo, against a decision of an Accra Circuit Court not to grant him bail earlier.

He was subsequently granted bail in the sum of GH¢200,000 with two sureties.
