Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah has cautioned that the acceptance of same-sex marriage by some churches elsewhere is a taboo to practice hence the need to flee from the act.

The Member of Parliament for Techiman South constituency in the Bono East Region who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah has disclosed his support for laws that criminalise gay, lesbianism, Transgender, Queer and their activities.

To him, the laws of Ghana is against the practice of LGBTQI+ as well the Christian and Traditional values and there is no need for one to entertain it hence his support for the laws to be made.

He disclosed this to the media reiterating that, “I’m against it, it’s something that humans are against and I can’t entertain it for one minute, it’s devilish,” he emphasised.

He indicated that if any country will accept such practice, not in Ghana, as the citizens have a role to play in protecting their wards and their future.

He bemoaned the acceptance of same-sex marriage by some churches elsewhere is a taboo to practice hence his total support for the laws to prevent people from engaging in such an act.

The MP encouraged the people to stand for the nation adding that Ghana must live above the practice of same-sex marriage.

The Techiman South legislator appealed to leaders of religious groups to stand up and fight against the introduction of same-sex marriage as some sections of Ghanaians have made the move.
