Two Togo Security Personnel Allegedly Beat A Ghanaian To Death Over A Missing SIM Card

A young man who is identified to be a Ghanaian has met his untimely death yesterday in the morning.

He is from Kopeyia, a town in the Ketu South District of Ghana. The young man who goes by the name of Felix was allegedly beaten to death by two military men believed to be from Togo.

Apparently, the soldiers gave Felix a phone to charge for them. He charged the phone and when he returned it to the soldiers, they accused him of stealing a sim card that was within the phone. According to eyewitnesses, Felix tried to defend himself that he did not open the phone and he did not know if the phone has the sim card before it was given to him to charge.

The soldiers turned death ear to his plea and proceeded to beat him mercilessly to death. The beating started at midnight and in the morning he passed on in the hands of the two merciless Togo soldiers at the border.

In the pictures below the lifeless body of Felix could be seen lying on the floor. It is a disturbing scene to see and the township of Kopeyia is unhappy with the way Felix was killed.
