The president of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo must be getting ready to travel to Wassa Amenfi East to commission a cassava processing factory.
The factory which is under the government’s flagship program 1D1F is expected to produce Grade One cassava powdered starch for export in China and other countries.
A visit to the factory, indicated that the company has started producing starch under it’s test running period.
The CEO of the company, Andrews Gyan, told Plan B News that test running has been successful and that management is working on some finishing touches
Mr Gyan indicated that within shortest possible time official invitation will reach the president of the land to officially come down to commission the factory.
