The latest update from Kingdom News and other media handles confirmed that the Ghana Police Service under the leadership of IGP George Akuffo Dampare has intercepted about 17 boxes of gold being transported to Dubai illegally.
According to the video shared on the Facebook platform of Kingdom News, Ghanaians with their phones recorded the video from the scene and shared it with other media handles. The counting of the boxes was done by Ghanaians who were present at the scene when the police officers stopped the vehicle transporting gold boxes to the Airport. The report added that the gold bars retrieved by the Ghana Police Service are currently under the custody of the police officers At the Greater Accra Police
