14-year-old candidate of Kwahu Praso Preaparatory School in the Eastern region has died days after complaining of minor headache.

Her colleagues and family members are in a state of shock since her death was confirmed on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Father of the deceased Godwin Osei griefed at the loss of his daughter.

“She complained of headache and took some tablets before going in to write the paper on the first day. On her return, she felt weak and rested in our neighbour’s house. I was called to pick her up. I took her to Kwahu Praso Clinic for her to be cared for. We left the clinic to the house, but she kept vomiting in the night. I had to rush her to the Holy Family Hospital at Nkawkaw. The nurses tried their best to stabilize her, but she passed on. She didn’t have any chronic ailment that I know of,” he narrated.

The deceased’s classmates shared fond memories of her.
