A Zimbabwean woman who was brutally murdered by her husband during an altercation at a residence in West Lothian has been identified. Chitsidzo Chingyanga, also known as Veronica, originally from Zimbabwe, was transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh following the disturbance that occurred on Sunday evening in the Cunnighar Road area of Broxburn.

The 42-year-old mother was sadly pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Legal Proceedings

Following the incident, 46-year-old Kasikai Chinyanga appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court on Tuesday, facing charges of murder. During the court appearance, he did not enter a plea. The charges were formally brought against him on Monday.
