The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council has boldly informed the Special Prosecutor of Ghana to act on the evidence of corruption cases brought on his table. In a speech delivered at their annual conference, they stressed on the point that, the Auditor General‘s 2020 report carries enough corruption evidence which needs to be tackled and acted upon.

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council focused on the massive uncovered corruption cases from some Municipal, District and Metropolitan Assemblies in parts of the country.

As to whether the Special Prosecutor will listen to their request or not, we are yet to know. They further encouraged the Special Prosecutor to be focused without distractions.

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council is an umbrella body of major Christian Churches in Ghana. They Criticise constructively to put government of the day on it’s toes. Their words was reechoed by Asaase radio and many other major media outlets in Ghana.
