A young Ghanaian man identified as Marvin Baah Boadu has been shot to death in Toronto, Canada.

Marvin was killed near an apartment complex in Clearview Heights and Trethewey Drive area on Monday.

The young man was shot multiple times sustaining life-threatening injuries. Although life-saving measures were performed on him at the scene before being transported to the hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival.

This incident marks the 72nd homicide recorded in Toronto this year, following the earlier fatal shooting of 39-year-old Adu Boakye in February.

The increase in gun violence in the city raises significant concerns regarding public safety.
