The statement, signed by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Gerald Damoah Domfeh, explicitly disassociates Young Apostles FC from the sentiments expressed by Samuel Anim Addo.
The club emphasized that the views he shared do not reflect the official position or values of the organization.
This follows allegations made by Samuel Anim Addo accusing the GFA of using Maxwell Hanson to carry out questionable activities on behalf of the association.
He further alleged that the GFA had threatened to demote Young Apostles FC to Division One through “underhanded” tactics and manipulation of the Accra Lions vs. Young Apostles match.
In its statement, the club reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining professionalism, integrity, and respect within the football community.
