Okyehene Amoatia Ofori Panin has condemned people who enrich themselves with the sweat of the masses.

To him, people who have amassed wealth through ill means and made the masses impoverished will go down as a disgrace.

He was speaking at his Okyeman for Christ event when he made these known.

“People think success is showing your material wealth. If you have stolen money to be successful, you’re not successful. If your bank account is tainted with the blood and sweat of the poor, you’re not successful.

If, by getting up there, you make other people poor, you’re not successful. If you dip your hands in the public purse and expunge from it monies that will build hospitals, schools, and churches, pay teachers well, build bridges, and deny a child malaria treatment, you’re not successful. Future generations will not build a monument in your name,” he said.
