Yonyoo: Police Inspector Mistakenly Shoots Himself In The Foot

Koforidua: Police Investigates Private School Over Death Of 7-year-old Pupil

Reports indicate that station officer of the Yonyoo Police Station, Chief Inspector John Asiedu has mistakenly shot himself.

According to the report, he was on patrol at the Jimbale village when the incident occurred.

He is said to have been getting down from a motor when he mistakenly pressed his rifle to trigger fire in his left leg twice.

The Yonyoo National Investigations Bureau Officer who was at the scene when the incident happened reported to the District Police Commander.

The Chief Inspector was then rushed to the Binde Health Center for medical attention but was referred to Baptist medical center for further treatment.
