WR Minister Paid GHC 3,000 To Kidnappers Of The Pregnant Lady – Another Top Secret Drop

WR Minister Paid GHC 3,000 To Kidnappers Of The Pregnant Lady – Another Top Secret Drop
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

It is panning out that the entire kidnap of the Takoradi pregnant lady was staged. A special aide to the western region minister, Mr. Justice Acquah has indicated that in the heat of the moment when the lady was kidnapped, the Minister, Mr. Kobby Okyere Darko Mensah paid an amount of three thousand Ghana Cedis to the alleged kidnappers.

The ransom, according to Mr. Justice Acquah in an interview with Skyy power FM’s headline news monitored by BeaNana revealed that the Minister and the police were collaborating to communicate with the kidnappers. Soon after a call was placed, the kidnappers asked for an amount of GHC 3,000 and the minister paid the money through the police.

Whilst the monies were being paid, the phone calls of the so-called kidnappers were being tracked by the police and other experts. In most of the cases, it was the pregnant lady who was speaking as if she was in a serious condition.

The police kept tracking the number until it was realized that it was a grand plan to solicit money from authorities. Every Single call made at the time was being monitored. The kidnappers initially demanded GHC 500. Soon after that, they again demanded another GHC 3,000, it was at this moment the minister decided to send the money for the woman to be free.

The police tapped into the phone calls of the lady and the mother. It was realized later that the two were communicating even after she had been reported taken hostage. The aide of the Regional Minister adds that more persons are involved in the plan and the police will soon track all of them down.

In the meantime, the lady, Josephine Panyin is at the Efia-Nkwnata Regional Hospital undergoing treatment and examination whilst three persons have been arrested. She has been declared as a suspect in the case. We are hoping her side of the story will soon be heard.
