WR: Deadly Accident At Mpintsin Leaves Two In Terrible Injuries

A taxi driver and his passenger onboard a KIA Picanto with registration number WR 1604 18 were knocked out of consciousness after colliding with another taxi (Opel) with registration number NR 3584 V at the Mpintsin junction via Kojokrom Highway. The accident which occured in the early morning during church hours left the two occupants of the KIA Picanto badly injured.

They have been rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Accident and Trauma Centre for emergency care. The impact from the collision left the driver-side of the KIA Picanto dented and the windshield the rear glass shattered.

Both passengers were pulled out of the car and it was observed that none were in a seat belt. Per some observation they might have suffered some concussion given that blood stains were spotted on the dashboard of the car.

The driver and the passengers onboard the Opel taxi were unharmed. However the driver-side of the Opel taxi was crushed.
