“We’re Not Recruiting” – Ghana Police Service To The Public

“We’re Not Recruiting” – Ghana Police Service To The Public
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The administration of the Ghana Police Service has cautioned members of the general public against fake recruitment advertisements currently being circulated by some unknown persons.

The Service explained that it has neither advertised any recruitment nor taking applications from potential applicants adding that the public should disregards such claims.

In a statement dated on May 25, 2021 and signed by Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman, (Mrs), Director, Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, the service mentioned that any advertisement or poster calling for interested persons to apply or pay to join the police service is false and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

The statement further noted that it has not created any portal for protocol recruitment nor has it authorized any individual or group within or outside the police service to recruit or facilitate recruitment for the service.

It further pointed out that any recruitment into the police service and requisite qualifications for this year, would be published in the national dailies, particularly in the Daily Graphic and the Ghanaian Times in due time.
