Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Ghana’s newly sworn-in Minister of Finance, has pledged to work tirelessly to cement President John Dramani Mahama’s legacy as the most successful leader in the Fourth Republic.
Speaking at his swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, January 22, Dr. Forson expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve and reaffirmed the commitment of the newly appointed ministers to meet the expectations of Ghanaians.
He assured President Mahama of their dedication to addressing critical national challenges, including economic recovery, energy, agriculture, justice, and education.
“Mr. President, we have stood by you during the challenging days in opposition and observed the mismanagement of the previous administration. Ghanaians have made it clear they will not accept such governance anymore.
“We will serve with utmost diligence to make you the best president of the Fourth Republic. Starting today, we are committed to working together with your team to restore Ghana and tackle the pressing issues facing our nation,” Dr. Forson assured.
With the resolve to rebuild the country, the new ministers aim to usher in a new era of hope and prosperity for Ghana.
