A terrorist has boasted that it group has already kidnapped students in Kebbi and Niger States and will soon begin abducting soldiers and politicians, claiming “there is nothing the government can do about it.”

Terrorists claim responsibility for student kidnappings in Kebbi and Niger

The brazen threat, which is circulated widely on social media, has triggered nationwide outrage and renewed fears over worsening insecurity.

The declaration, made in a video shared online, comes amid rising cases of mass abductions in northern Nigeria.

The statement has drawn strong reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing frustration and fear over the state of the country’s security.

Social media reacts to brazen boast

@TaraBlinz: “This kind of boast shouldn’t even be possible in a functioning country. How did we get here?”
