We need radical thinking leaders to safeguard the country – Alex Nti Emmanuel

We need radical thinking leaders to safeguard the country – Alex Nti Emmanuel
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A political analyst Mr. Alex Emmanuel Nti who doubles as a financial engineer has said Ghana needed “radical thinking leaders” in all facets of society to manage the “crucial stage” the country has got to.

His comments come on the back of former Minister of State under the Rawlings administration Professor Kojo Yankah’s condemnation of government officials acquiring and owning state properties, describing it as “morally wrong.”

In a Facebook post on Monday, May 20, 2024, Prof. Yankah, who is also the Founder of the Pan African Heritage Museum (PAHM) and the African University College of Communications (AUCC), emphasised that state assets belong to the state and should be held in trust for all citizens.

His comments come amid controversy over the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) selling four hotels to Bryan Acheampong, the Abetifi Member of Parliament and Minister of Food and Agriculture.

Speaking on Plan B FM current affairs program dubbed ‘Ebaanosen’ on Monday May 20, 2024 with Ohene Kinnah, Mr. Alex Nti said such leaders must uphold integrity, command respect, and confidence of the citizenry to promote nationalism, patriotism, justice, and harmonious relationships” vital for the country’s effective development.

He said those appointed to positions of leadership must uphold and promote justice, peace, and harmony and stop playing with the minds of Ghanaians.

Mr. Boateng stressed that corruption, abuse of power, misappropriation of state funds, and mismanagement of national resources by our leaders have led to the unprecedented mass suffering in the country.
