NPP National Youth Organiser Salam Mustapha has issued a heartfelt apology to party supporters following the party’s significant defeat in the 2024 elections.

Speaking on Point Blank on Eyewitness News on Citi FM, Mustapha acknowledged the scale of the loss and expressed deep regret.

“It is with a lot of pain that I admit that we failed, and quite hugely at that,” he stated.

He extended his apologies to the party’s base, including polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, constituency executives, youth organisers, and regional and national executives.

Mustapha particularly sympathized with the youth who had placed their hopes in the NPP’s victory.

“I say we are very sorry from the very depths of our hearts to all the party following, especially the thousands, millions of young people who were looking up to us to win the election and give them hope,” he added.

Despite the setback, Mustapha assured supporters that the party remains committed to rebuilding and regaining its strength. He expressed confidence in the NPP’s ability to recover from the loss and return to winning ways.
