A Constituency Executive member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Tema West, Eric Arthur, has stated unequivocally that the party is ready to welcome whoever the President chooses as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).

According to Eric Arthur, all shortlisted candidates are capable and willing to serve.

In an exclusive interview on Plan B FM’s Ebaanosen show, hosted by Ohene Kinnah on Tuesday, January 11, 2025, Eric Arthur emphasized that they are prepared to work with whoever catches the President’s eye as MCE.

“The grassroots of the NDC within the Tema West Municipality will not create any chaos after the President’s nomination of an MCE,” he noted.

He further stated, “Pressure groups will not attack the nominee but rather welcome the person in good faith because all the names presented to the President are deserving of the position.”

Eric Arthur assured the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, that the party will wholeheartedly support his choice of nominee for the Tema West Municipality.
