Election 2020: Voters queued as early as 2am in Ho

Scores have congregated at various polling stations in Ho in readiness to exercise their franchise long before the starting time at 0700 hours.

Many of the voters queued as early as 0200-0300 hours to become the early birds to cast their ballot.

The early birds explain they have other pressing business in the day and wanted to finish with the voting exercise and face -off their programmes without any hitches.

Wisdom Amenuke, prospective voter, told the Ghana News Agency, the exercise was crucial to him and anxious to be among the first to cast his ballot.

Godwin Anyagli said he formed a one-man queue at 0200 hours and the next person joined him at 0300 hours on poll’s day.

Meanwhile, voting started smoothly in 11 polling stations in Ho visited by the GNA, with the observance of the safety protocols well activated.

Voting is taking place in 247 polling stations across the Constituency and 2,239 others in the entire Region.

Present were security officers, party agents and observers.
