President of Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Frankin Cudjoe, has asked the people of Ghana to vote massively against the NDC if they partake in the recall of Parliament.

In a post shared via social media, he indicated that if the minority takes part in the recall, it will clearly send a signal that they will be worse than what is currently happening under the NPP.

To him, a Parliament with its name will under no circumstance be considering several bills in 2 days.

Parliament has 17 bills to consider when recalled after issues about some vacant seats in Parliament led to the Speaker adjourning sitting sine die.

Franklin Cudjoe’s post read, “Any Parliament worth its name should under no circumstannces be considering all these many bills and costly plans in 2 says! If the Minority group in Parliament takes part in this, it would be the clearest indication yet to Ghanaians that they will be worse in government. I will urge voters to take notice and punish them”.

Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has warned its Members of Parliament against going to Parliament in case the Speaker of Parliament orders a recall.

Sam Nartey George while speaking on Accra-based TV3 also sent a clear message that Members of Parliament on the Minority side have decided not to go back to Parliament as they need to be in their constituencies to campaign massively for their victory in the 2024 elections.

Meanwhile, there is a petition on the Speaker of Parliament to recall Parliament to sit on November 28 and 29, 2024.
