An unidentified man was found dead in a gutter at Abrewa Nkwanta, near the SDA Education Unit at New Juaben North.
The discovery was made around 9:20 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Preliminary investigations have yet to determine the cause of death, but the body displayed severe injuries, including visible bruises and cuts, suggesting the possibility of lynching.
Authorities suspect the man may have been killed elsewhere before his body was dumped at the scene.
Officials from the Effiduase Police Command and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) quickly arrived at the location after the discovery.
The body was transported to the Roman Hospital Mortuary at approximately 10:25 pm for further examination and autopsy.
The Effiduase Police Command has launched a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances of the incident, identify the victim, and apprehend those responsible for the crime.
