The victims, identified as eight-year-old Jason Teye Mensah, a Class Two pupil, and nine-year-old Nathaniel Ayernor Kofi, a Class Three pupil, reportedly returned from school but went missing and could not be found.

Their bodies were later discovered in the manhole around 6 p.m. on Thursday.
