Two Military Officers, Others Arrested For Alleged Robbery

The Western Central Police Command has arrested four suspected armed robbers, including two military officers, while two others remain at large.

The suspects are linked to an attempted robbery at LongShine Mining Company Limited in Obouhu, a suburb of Prestea, on Sunday, 28th September 2025.

According to the company’s security guards, the suspects assaulted them and demanded to be led to the gold storage room.

Authorities revealed that the suspects rented a Toyota pickup with registration number GN6116-25 for the operation. The vehicle has been confiscated by the police, who continue efforts to apprehend the two suspects still at large.
