Two armed robbers who are alleged to be blood brothers have been apprehended by police in the Upper East region.
According to a statement from the Service, the two suspects are suspected of being involved in an armed robbery that occurred on December 28, 2020 at Bukere, a Bolgatanga neighborhood.
Ayine Awunnore, popularly known as Agu King, 27, and Daniel Awunnore, 20, were alleged to be hiding in Winkongo, Talensi District, after attacking a victim and stealing his motorcycle and cellphone.
Police seized one Dell laptop, three Dell laptop batteries, a power bank, one motorcycle mirror, two master keys, and one Dayang motorcycle after their arrest.
They also found 27 rounds of pistol ammunition, one return spring, nine brand new phones, GH250.00 in cash, one black cable whip, four memory cards, and one royal motorcycle.
