Twenty-Two Arrested For Illegal Mining At Dominase Nkwanta And Adjakaa Manso

The Western Central Police Command on 8th April 2025, arrested twenty two (22) persons for illegal mining activities at Dominase Nkwanta, Adjakaa Manso and other areas in the Western Region of Ghana.
The twenty two suspects are; Albert Adu Bonsra, Stephen Kwakye, Richard Atigah , Yaw Menanyi, Al-Mustapha Alidu, Jutu Francis, Hakitu Zibo, Nana Yaw Boakye, Kwesi Evans, Isaac Cobby, Bashiru Ali, Atta Francis, Ayew Sali, Fataw Gariba, Kwame Emmanuel,

Kwesi Francis, Abapor Frank, Wasah Moses, Bukari Haruna, Abdulai Lukman, Yeboah Rashid, and Alkainu Hassan.

⁠The police team retrieved eleven (11) pumping machines, seven (7) shovels, a pick axe, and two (2) chamfan machines from the various sites.
All the suspects are in Police custody and are being processed to face full rigors of the law.
