
According to police reports, the Bibiani Divisional Police Command received a distress call indicating that a young woman had been rushed to the Bibiani Government Hospital for emergency treatment. However, she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Dr. Dabo confirmed that Gloria Addae was brought in already deceased. Upon examination, he discovered signs of electrocution on her chest with indications of intense pressure, and noted that the body had no other signs of violence. The body has since been deposited at the morgue.
Police extended their investigation to the hospital morgue, where the body was observed lying in a supine position. A deep burn mark consistent with contact from a hot object was found on her chest.
Further investigations led police to the company premises, where the secretary guided them to the company’s hostel on the outskirts. In the deceased’s room, a search revealed an electric iron with human skin stuck beneath it.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s body remains at the Bibiani Government Hospital morgue for preservation and possible autopsy.
Speaking to Accra based Adom FM, the victim’s father, Kwaku Addae, corroborated the police account but expressed suspicions of foul play. He has appealed to the police to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death.
