Traffic on the main Accra-Achimota Highway has been diverted from Avenor through to the Industrial Area due to a gas leakage at a gas filling station opposite the National Police Training School (NPTS), Tesano.

Traffic has also been diverted from Apenkwa along the Achimota Highway through the North Industrial Area, a report by the Police said.

Meanwhile, the Ghana National Fire Service and Police personnel are reportedly at the scene and managing the situation.

“All approaching motorists are advised to follow Police directives and adhere to these traffic arrangements,” Police cautioned in its statement.
