Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu alleged that influential figures attempted to suppress a documentary on the National Service Authority (NSA) scandal ahead of the December 7 elections.
Speaking on Joy News’ PM Express on Thursday, March 4, the member of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team claimed that high-profile individuals made desperate efforts, including pleading on their knees, to stop the investigative film from airing.
“This story has been going on for months,” he said, referencing the explosive corruption allegations surrounding the NSA.
“Remember that they quickly went to court and got an order to stop The Fourth Estate from screening this documentary before the elections, and then The Fourth Estate went to the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).”
According to Mr Kpebu, after the documentary found its way to the OSP, panic set in among those implicated.
