Top Corporate Executive Trumpets The Essence Of Marriage

Chief Executive of Hollard Ghana Limited, Mrs. Patience Akyianu has hailed the crucial role of the institution of marriage in successful corporate living. 

She emphasized that a good marriage provides the necessary balance for a sound corporate life as it offers a refreshing breeze from the heats of the corporate environment. 

In her interaction with the media, Mrs. Akyianu hailed the cushioning effect of a thriving family life whiles drumming the thrills she gets from being both a mother and wife at home. 

“I try to adapt to the demands of each of these environments. Home is not work and work is not home”, she said.   

She further stated that a woman’s ability to manage both spaces is crucial for soundness of life and is overall rewarding.

When quizzed about the possible clash of egos at home by virtue of her stature in the Ghanaian corporate community, she said with a giggle, “my husband is the boss in our home”. 

Mrs Akyianu  believes playing a supporting role behind her husband is useful and fosters a harmonious atmosphere for the mutual benefit of all at home.
