“Time is A Seed, We are Stewards” – Rev Manful’s Powerful Message

Rev. Sam Manful Warns: “Meds Can Impact Kids’ Growth – Pray and Research Before Giving!”

The Head Pastor of Global Ark of Grace Chapel, Reverend Sam Manful, has called on the general public not to waste time, emphasising that we are only stewards of time.

In an interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s “Nyansapɔ Fie” programme, he said wasting time goes against God’s plans for individuals, leading to reliance on personal plans rather than divine guidance.

Using an analogy, Rev Manful quizzed, “Imagine God planning rainfall in April, and one decides to plant in December instead. How then do you get rainfall to water your crops?” He added that failing to pray at night, as ordained by God, might have consequences. Rev Manful lamented that time mismanagement has affected various sectors, including governance, the church, and education.

He concluded, “Time is a seed, and as stewards of it, we shall account for it. Therefore, we must be mindful of how we spend time, as it will lead to consequences based on what it was invested in.” He urged followers of Christ to always go with Psalm 90:12, so as to know their days on earth and how to move with God’s time.

Mary Bright Abelenma Coffie, a youth counsellor, fashion designer, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Expert, also shares her insights on the importance of time management. Coffie views time as a gift that is rarely given again, stressing the need to use it wisely.

She believes that even when given a second chance, one might not be able to do or say the same things they should have done initially. People must make the gift beneficial in all their dealings.

She advises being cautious when making decisions and seeking God’s guidance, especially for minor decisions, to prevent impulsive choices with unforeseen consequences. Coffie notes that rash decisions can have severe consequences and stresses the need for mindfulness in decision-making to avoid negative outcomes.
