Thieves have broken into the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Western North Region.
According to a report by 3news.com, the Municipal Director of the NCCE, Martha Nneka Opara, confirmed the incident in a phone interview with TV3 on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

She said, “The thieves also broke into other government institutions within the same premises, including the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), the Audit Department, and the Electoral Commission’s store, where they stole a main switch, electrical wires, service lines, and air conditioners”.
Martha Nneka further noted that the burglars also targeted other government offices located within the same premises.

Meanwhile, the incident has been reported to the police for investigation.
