Former Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has intensified his criticism of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), insisting he will not be intimidated by party members who have accused him of bitterness following his recent comments on government projects.

Speaking on Net 2 TV, the former NPP flagbearer aspirant defended his criticism of the party’s handling of key initiatives, including the Afari Military Hospital and Agenda 111, arguing that his concerns are driven by national interest rather than personal grievances.

Agyapong rejected claims that his remarks stem from disappointment over events during the NPP’s internal campaign, warning that continued attacks against him could lead to the disclosure of more damaging information.

He further alleged widespread corruption in the awarding of public contracts, claiming that kickbacks and contract sales have occurred under both the NPP and the NDC.

According to him, Ghana’s political class has failed to address entrenched corruption, stressing that he will continue speaking out despite pressure from within political circles.
