There are rules and regulations governing noise making in  Ghana– Environmental  Protection Agency Director warns

The Atebubu Amantin municipal Environmental protection Agency Director, Mrs Jamilatu Yaro has cautioned noise makers in Ghana with the rules and regulations guarding noise making in the Country.

The statement comes as the agency held a meeting with the Atebubu local council of Churches on the way to curb Noise pollution being produced by Churches.

Mrs Yaro Jamilatu also proceeded that, there are many ACTS in the constitution which prevent citizens from engaging in excessive noise making.

She concluded by warning people who spark loud into the atmosphere which can also drive out animals from their inhabited places.

Also she said all noise makers must desist from disturbing the public peace.
