The Trade Sector Sometimes Needs Just A Confident Atmosphere to keep moving -GUTA

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has indeed used the State of the Nation Address (SONA) which he presented in Parliament today to inspire hope in Ghanaians, especially the business community.

GUTA says he must touch on policy decisions that will assuage the fears of particularly the local trading community.

Dr Joseph Obeng, in an interview Bohyeba Afriyie, said the SONA did outline prudent measures being taken to address the economic challenges confronting the country which they are very happy about.

Dr Joseph Obeng, made clarion call on Government in the interview which states that the Government in attempt to work on the cedi depreciation rate which is highly caused by high imports must know that 83% of importers here are Foreigners and must put some measures in place to save the cedi.

He concluded that the trade industry sometimes only needs confidential Atmosphere.
