The Ministry of Chieftancy and Religious Affairs has issued a direct order to all its registrars to with immediate effect, ask all trainees under the Nation Building Corps to vacate their posts.
The directive was stated in a letter signed by the Director, Human Resource management of the Ministry Dedaa Wiredu Agyei and copied to the sector minister, said that this is because the programme had ended in October 2021.
Dennis Opoku Katakyie president of NABCO trainees Association Ghana in an interview with Bohyeba on Plan B FM’s Ebanoosen revealed that the release left him in dismay as it did to all Ghanaians because he had no hint about it before it was released.
He indicated that as it stands now because of the date issued on the release he wants to believe that it’s an old letter that was written before the president issued a statement of making their job permanent.
He also said that the statement released was directed to trainees who are in the Chieftancy ministry not all trainees
He concluded that the Main Authority lies in the Headquarters and information he is getting from the right Authority is different from what he just read but even if the letter is true all trainees under that ministry will be reposted.
