The productivity puzzle: ADR expert offers solution for better time management

God’s Love: The antidote to character assassination – ADR Practitioner
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Renowned Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) expert, fashion designer, and youth counsellor, Mary Bright Coffie, has shared her expertise on effective time management, providing valuable insights for individuals seeking to optimise their productivity.

Appearing on Plan B FM’s social and lifestyle programme, ‘Nyansapɔ Fie,’ hosted by Nana Asabea, Coffie, affectionately known as Auntie May, emphasised the crucial role of prioritisation in time management. “Planning alone is insufficient; prioritising your time and considering the costs involved is vital,” she stressed.

Auntie May explained that effective time management entails evaluating the benefits of each task and assessing its impact on one’s life. She also highlighted the importance of rest and self-care, noting that “even the Creator rested after creation.” Coffie advised individuals to allocate time for personal activities and self-reflection, even in relationships.

Coffie cautioned against over-investing in relationships, warning that it can lead to an imbalance. “Whilst supporting one another is essential, individuals must maintain their autonomy and financial stability,” she advised.

In conclusion, Auntie May urged individuals to establish and maintain personal boundaries, prioritising self-development for a brighter future in their relationships. “Giving your entire day to support your partner, whilst neglecting your own development, is not advisable,” she said. “Invest in yourself for a more fulfilling relationship.”
