The Ghanaian Man’s Poor Attitude Towards Work In Public Sectors Justifies Why Government keeps Leasing Our Companies Out – Economist
Management of Golden Tulip Hotels, the Ghana Libyan-Arab Holding Company (GLAHCO), has described as false multiple reports that the hotels have been sold off. But reacting to the reports, Golden Tulip Management said the hotels had instead been leased to Achour Holdings. In Authority of this Plan B Fm’s Ohene Addo had an eloquent interview with Mr Alex Emmanuel, an Economist on Ebanoosen and he stated that most of the time the Government is forced to hand over Public institutions to Private foreign Groups because of the Ghanaian man’s poor attitude towards work in public sectors. He added it’s not very good because the more foreigners take over our public sectors the more our cedi depreciates because they take all money they make to their countries and by so doing they change our cedis in to dollars before sending it to their countries and it’s not healthy for our economy. He concluded they have assured to maintain the old workers but didn’t specify the number of years the plan to maintain them so to secure their jobs the Government should go in to an Agreement where they allow their workers to be with them for 12 years. |
