The foundation of the NPP is broken – Alex Emmanuel

NPP To Hold National Annual Delegates Conference
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A political analyst, Alex Emmanuel  has said the liberal democratic principles on which the NPP was founded has largely been adulterated as compared to how it was a few years ago.

He believes the party is suffering from unnecessary factionalism and divisiveness which has contributed significantly to their current woes.

In an interview with Ohene Kinnah on Plan B FM’s ‘Ebaanosen’ Mr. Alex Emmanuel who also doubles as a financial engineer asserted that there’s a massive confusion between some of the founding fathers of the party and the current leadership which has necessitated the bitterness we are seeing in the party.

He stated that the NPP government has performed abysmally since they took office in 2017.  He thus advised the party to take a retrospection and remember the past when things were done in a properly manner and turn things around.

Mr. Alex Emmanuel’s comments come after the National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha disclosed that he takes full responsibility for the conduct of the party’s youth attack on Accra based UTV studios last Saturday.

He believes the leadership of the party is well aware of the attack and would not be surprised if they are the ones that sanctioned the youth of the party to go and engaged in the dastardly act. He thinks the attack was well planned by the entire leadership of the party.

He however commended the National Youth Organizer of the party Salam Mustapha for being a good leader after taking full responsibility of the attack on UTV.
