The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has reiterated that a new National Democratic Congress (NDC) under former President John Dramani Mahama will recover all looted state resources and assets through the Operation-Recover-All-Loot (ORAL).
The lawmaker indicated that every corrupt official of the NPP government would face the law and be prosecuted, and all the resources they have looted would be recovered.
He alleged that the current government has engaged in unprecedented levels of corruption, inflated contracts, and mismanaged the economy, and a new NDC government will spare no one found culpable.
The party is holding its final rally today, Thursday, December 5, ahead of Saturday’s general elections, drawing a massive crowd to Zurak Park in Madina, Greater Accra Region.
Mr. Ablakwa maintained that by the grace of God, John Dramani Mahama will win, and no man born of a woman can take that victory away from him.
He said the people who claim to be pursuing bold solutions are commissioning e-gates when Mr. Mahama commissioned the iconic airport, which won international awards.
He noted that the NPP is the party of bizzare possibilities by constructing the most expensive hole in the world at a cost of Ghc 339 million, paid $2.5 million to shonky Sheikhs from Dubai for sputnik vaccines that were manufactured in Russia.
He said the government paid over $178 million for the DRIP projects, which should not have cost us more than $76 million dollars.
The former deputy education minister slammed the government, stressing that the NDC is the party of transformation and development, cares for the people, and is accountable to the people.
He said this election is about accountability, and the president is doing what he can to impose Dr. Bawumia so they will escape accountability.
‘’They will pay for the state capture. They will pay for the corruption. Everybody will pull up their money from under their beds. The Cecilia Dapaah syndrome is coming to an end. They will account for their crimes, their atrocities, against the Ghanaian people.”
