The banking sector clean-up has left people in poverty and devastation – Mahama

The Akuffo Addo led Government Are Specialized In Abandoning Projects – John Mahama
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has noticed the level of devastation the banking sector clean-up has brought on the people of Ghana.

He explains that the insensitive decision to close the struggling banks in the country has left several families in poverty, debt, and devastation.

In a post shared via social media, he noted that the decision by the government is a clear indication that the New Patriotic Party and its government do not prioritize the well-being of the people who voted them into power.

John Dramani Mahama urged the people of Ghana to vote wisely as they have an opportunity to change their fortunes and bring a government that cares about the people.

Years after the poor and insensitive decisions by Akufo-Addo and Bawumia in the banking sector, countless lives have been destroyed, leaving families in debt, poverty, and devastation.

This happens when a nation gambles with the well-being of its people.

The power is in our hands—let’s choose a better future.
